PhysisForcing: injecting physical supervision at training time to fix video world models that "look right but move wrong" · world-model
Video diffusion models are trained to reward plausible-looking frames, not physical correctness, so in generated grasping clips a cup can drift away on its own mid-grasp. PhysisForcing adds two auxiliary physics losses to a DiT video generator during fine-tuning and discards them at deployment, leaving only the base model, so inference overhead is zero. Policies trained on data it generates raise closed-loop robot manipulation success from 16% to 24%; the team also claims the top score on all major physical-realism benchmarks.

Shangyu quadruped robot deployed in a liquid chlorine workshop · industrial
The liquid chlorine production workshop of Runtu New Materials (Chinese chemical company) recently began using a quadruped inspection robot equipped with visible-light, infrared, and gas sensors. Before going on duty, it passed a 15-day real-world chemical-plant assessment at the Yangtze River Delta Center of an embodied-intelligence testing lab and received national-level test certification. Fu Zairong, the company's executive deputy general manager, said: "With the robot, personnel exposure time in high-risk areas is down 90%, safety is better, and efficiency is higher too." Late last year, Shangyu District in Shaoxing (Zhejiang, China) visited more than 110 chemical companies and chose 5 for inspection pilots. 40 data-collection robots have gathered more than 150,000 high-precision manipulation records. Shangyu has brought in 20 embodied-intelligence projects, with total investment above RMB 15 billion. Source: People's Daily source
